Paul J. Dzikowski

Paul’s professional experience spans complex civil litigation, municipal law, commercial disputes, and regulatory matters from the differing perspectives of governmental agencies and members of the regulated communities.
His litigation background includes representation of clients in state and federal courts in commercial claims, zoning disputes, and construction disputes, including assisting clients with navigating public works contracts, zoning and land‑use permitting processes, municipal regulations, and related compliance issues.
Paul has broad experience defending municipalities and elected officials in matters involving personal injury, wrongful arrest, and federal claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. His municipal practice includes drafting and amending city and county ordinances, ranging from animal control to alcoholic beverage regulation—and representing parties in various administrative proceedings.
As a former Assistant District Attorney in South Georgia and a Special Assistant Solicitor for a Metro Atlanta county, he has prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases in various courts and developed new procedural guidelines for one county’s Pretrial Diversion Program.
